Honorary consulates have less competences than embassies and consulates (general). Honorary consuls do not always have Belgian nationality or speak the official languages of Belgium. You should therefore always contact the Embassy of Belgium in Baku first.
In case of unforeseen serious difficulties abroad, Belgian nationals in Georgia may ask for assistance from Mr. John Braeckeveldt, Honorary Consul of Belgium in Tbilisi, or from the Embassy of Belgium in Baku (Azerbaijan), competent for Georgia.
